After a truly outstanding debut event last summer, The Citadelle Art Foundation is pleased to announce the upcoming plans for another Concours d'Elegance. On Saturday, July 30, 2011, The Citadelle will present "Out of Africa," which will serve as the Preview Event for next summer's main event, Concours d'Elegance 2012. We hope to again have your special participation.
Our "Out of Africa" celebration will begin Saturday morning, July 30th at The Shannon Ranch with a chance to hone your safari shooting skills during a Sporting Clay Tournament presented by Tournament Targets, Inc. of San Antonio. Both a 5 Stand and a 2 Man Flush game will be presented with a complimentary "Bush Lunch" between events. Dress in your favorite Safari Chic attire and join us Saturday evening in the Citadelle Gardens for the "Out of Africa" Gala that will include elegant cocktails and hors d'oeuvres while you enjoy a presentation of Tribal Dancing from Burundi, Africa. Dinner d'Elegance will be prepared and served to you by OHMS of Amarillo, TX. Concluding the evening will be live entertainment from London Calling of Austin, TX. The Gala will also feature a silent auction and an amazing "Opportunity to Win" a 7 day African Safari from Zulu Nyala.
Finally, we will be announcing plans for next summer's two-day full-scale event, Concours d'Elegance 2012. Barry and Tisha Peterson will serve as your 2012 Committee Chairs.
