Cowboy Finery and Fellowship: An Evening with Jon Flaming

Join us on Saturday, October 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the Oofie and Iris Abraham Gallery for a special evening celebrating the opening of Jon Flaming’s Texas.

Pull on your boots, turquoise, fringe, and hats for a night of western flair, fine art, and good company. Guests will enjoy a ribeye dinner and an artist talk with Jon Flaming, whose bold vision captures the grit, grace, and beauty of Texas life.

This evening is all about fellowship. Bring along your favorite beverage to share with your table—whether it is wine, whiskey, or sparkling water—and settle in for a memorable night that blends art, conversation, and Texas flavor.

Dinner begins at 6pm on Saturday, October 12, 2024 in the Citadelle Gallery.

Beer and wine are complimentary with ticket purchase.

Chef Ruthie Landelius will treat us to a modern twist on a traditional Cheyenne-Arapaho Dinner featuring Bison harvested from the Cheyenne Nation with Native American dishes and desserts from the artists' childhood.

Limited seating is available so RSVP today.

The evening includes presentations from featured Native American ledger artists, alongside ledger art scholars from University of California San Diego and Texas Tech University.

Full Circle- A Musical Museum Experience Private Concert

Come enjoy this one-of-a-kind concert featuring six original compositions written by Rice Composers, including Canadian’s own Alex Moreno. Inspired by works within the Citadelle’s Permanent Collection, the chamber compositions will be performed by nine Rice Musicians inside the Citadelle Mansion using the 1823, John Broadwood Piano.
